Refit 2027 · Rara Avis 2.0

These images are design renders of the 2027 refit, not photographs - the finished yacht may differ from them in detail. Her overall length grew by four metres to 37 m, the aft deck was extended to fit a separate sitting area, and the stern gained a 32 m² platform whose two wings fold down hydraulically to sea level. A new multifunctional gangway allows boarding from several directions and lowers straight into the water. Six cabins, twelve guests and the sailing character stay as they are; the crew is now seven. The exterior of S/Y Rara Avis is built for slow Adriatic days. A full-beam sundeck carries a jacuzzi and shaded loungers, while the aft cockpit seats all twelve guests for al fresco dinners at anchor. Below deck, six en-suite cabins sleep up to twelve guests. Two 18 m² VIP cabins take the prime positions, each with a double bed, panoramic ports and a marble bathroom; two 13 m² doubles and two 13 m² twins, whose beds convert into doubles, complete the accommodation. Every cabin has climate control, blackout comfort, Wi-Fi and its own ensuite - private sanctuaries a world away from a crowded flotilla.

The main salon is the social heart of the yacht: hand-finished woodwork, deep upholstered seating and a dining table for twelve, all wrapped in panoramic windows that pull the sea inside.
