Which Charter
A bareboat charter hands you the keys: you skipper the yacht yourself, and Croatian authorities require a recognised skipper's licence and VHF certificate before you leave the dock. You provision, you cook, you clean, you plan every mile.

Plan your itineraryCroatia's glamour island: lavender fields, baroque piazzas, and a vibrant harbour scene. Anchor off the Pakleni Islands for turquoise swimming bays a tender ride from the old town.
The most remote of Croatia's inhabited islands, closed to visitors until 1989 and all the more unspoiled for it. Time a dawn tender run into the Blue Cave on Biševo, then lunch in a Komiža fishing konoba.

Sea around 19°C
The coast at its greenest and emptiest. Harbours are unhurried, konobas have tables free, and low-season rates apply. Bring a layer for the evenings.
Sea around 23°C
Arguably the best month aboard. Long daylight, swimmable water, reliable afternoon maestral for sailing, and the crowds have not yet arrived.
Sea around 25°C
Peak Adriatic summer. Warmest air, steady thermal wind most afternoons, and the busiest harbours of the year. Book the earliest of anyone.
Sea around 26°C
The warmest sea of the season and the liveliest island scene. Popular anchorages fill by mid-afternoon, which is where a captain who knows the coast earns their keep.
Sea around 24°C
The connoisseur's month. Sea still holds August warmth, the crowds thin after the first week, and the sailing wind sharpens. Harvest season ashore.
Sea around 21°C
Quiet, golden, and unpredictable in the best way. Weather turns more variable, so routes stay flexible, and low-season rates return.
