Adriatic
Destinations

From our home base in Split, a week aboard S/Y Rara Avis opens a thousand islands — glamorous harbours, remote coves, and UNESCO-listed old towns, all at the pace you choose.

Watch this space as we add detailed island guides and sample itineraries. For now, see life aboard in the gallery, then tell us where you dream of dropping anchor.

Plan your itinerary
01

Hvar

Croatia's glamour island — lavender fields, baroque piazzas, and a vibrant harbour scene. Anchor off the Pakleni Islands for turquoise swimming bays a tender ride from the old town.

02

Vis & Biševo

The most remote of Croatia's inhabited islands, closed to visitors until 1989 and all the more unspoiled for it. Time a dawn tender run into the Blue Cave on Biševo, then lunch in a Komiža fishing konoba.

03

Korčula

The "Little Dubrovnik" — a walled medieval town of narrow herringbone streets that Marco Polo reputedly called home. Surrounded by some of the Adriatic's finest white-wine vineyards.

04

Dubrovnik

The UNESCO-listed pearl of the Adriatic, its limestone walls rising straight from the sea. A favoured embarkation port and a spectacular finale to a one-way charter from Split.

05

Brač & Zlatni Rat

Home to Zlatni Rat, Croatia's most photographed beach — a golden horn of shingle that shifts shape with the wind and tide. Sheltered anchorages make it an easy first night out of Split.

06

Montenegro

Beyond Croatian waters, the fjord-like Bay of Kotor cuts deep into the mountains, past baroque Perast and the walled old town of Kotor. A dramatic extension for longer charters.

Simply the best charter experience possible.
